Variety pack of Greetings!

This card was for a co-worker. I loved the look of the embossed white with a splash of color in the banner.
Another co-worker birthday! This one was inspired by the patterned paper - great for a masculine card!
A wedding card using an older sticker image from my stash. The sentiment is so versatile. I could have used this for an engagement, an anniversary or any congratulatory card.
This card used some Glitz patterned paper for a base, and didn't really need much else! The 1.5" satin ribbon is from May Arts, and makes a really nice bow.
This sticker with the vintage rv and station wagon is from My Little Yellow Bicycle, and so are the little banner flags. I thought both were appropriate for a co-worker who is going to be a snowbird very soon!

Ad Inspired

As soon as I saw it, I knew it had to be a layout! Here's the ad I saw in June's Vanity Fair magazine.
Here is my layout that it inspired. I used my Silhouette for the first time in ages and I loved how it turned out!

CASE Study Challenge #93

Here is the inspiration for this week's Case Study Challenge #93 from Agnieszka Malyszek.
I really enjoyed her cards this month! Thanks!

And here is my card.

I used an older Cosmo Cricket line - Lil Man. The sentiment is a Kid Quote from Inkadinkado.
Something completely different!

CASE Study Challenge #92

This week's CASE Study Challenge was exactly that! I hadn't used flower soft in ages. It was a good excuse to try my hand at it again, and make a card for Jett's birthday, too!

Here's the inspiration:

And here is my card!

CASE Study Challenge #89

This week, the inspiration piece on the CASE Study Challenge site was a colorful, dramatic card from Agnieszka Malyszek

And here's mine. I embossed black cardstock with a CHF sheet music background and cut the letters out with some very under-used cuttlebug dies. The birthday sentiment is part of a stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie. And of course, hardly anything leaves my desk without a bow! This one is AC satin ribbon.

Enjoy National Scrapbooking Day tomorrow! Make something pretty!

My first CASE Study Challenge

I've been wanting to play with the girls at CASE Study for a while now, and tonight I thought I'd throw my hat in the ring! Here's the card that is the inspiration piece for Challenge #88, by Laurie Schmidlin.

And here's my card.  I used KaiserCraft "After Five" pp and die cut, and some Jenni Bowlin buttons from a past Scrapshotz kit.
I was too late to get into the challenge this week, but I got a nice card for my stash anyway! Thanks for stopping by, come back soon!

Scrapshotz Layout Tag

I have a stack of photos to go to when I have a layout challenge to do. I don't know that I'll ever run out! This one is from last February in Mexico. A person just doesn't get tired of taking photos of the spectacular sunsets! This line of MME's is one of my favorites! It's Lost and Found Two - Sunshine. Love the glitter and the gorgeous yellow. I used it on every layout tag that I've been in this year! Here's the January tag:And here's the March one. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Scrapshotz April Reveal

The Scrapshotz kit for April was Fancy Pants - Be You. Loved the whimsical, fun patterns and although I thought it would be more suited to girls, I had no trouble at all using it with my boy's photos!

Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry Tags

What fun! I've been taking an online class from Tim Holtz and learning about the different inks. He's been guiding us through the creation of some tags, too. Here are some of mine. I need to get some more supplies to complete some of the others that he's done.

Thanks for having a look!
