Melissa's DT Challenge at Scrapshotz was to put hidden journaling on your layout. I used a Maya Road envelope to put this journaling in:
"June 15 - 21, 2010. Jett. You were early, anxious to make your way in the world. A month early, in fact. Born with a preemie condition called "wet lung," you were having trouble getting enough air. My first look at you was frightening, your face was so blue. You were sent by air to Edmonton to the NICU, where you could be fed by tube and monitored closely. You stayed a week before you were able to come home, and you were constantly in our prayers. Love you so much, baby boy!" Thanks for looking! Have a great day!
My first as a member of the Creative Team! I was very nervous, but am pleased with the results. The kit was based on the ever-so-beautiful Bo Bunny Timepiece collection. What a great line of paper and embellishments!
They're having a crop at Scrapshotz! The theme of the crop is Heroes and Villains. There are some wonderful challenges and I have been having some fun with them. Here are a couple of my submissions. I will add more as the weekend progresses!
Sometimes, the old mojo hits at the strangest times. I was stuck with this one. No title was coming to mind until the middle of the night when I woke up with a light-bulb moment and what I thought was a perfect one. Here's what keeps me up at night! LOL! I made the roses following a tutorial posted by Angelbear on Scrapshotz. The sparkly title alphas were silver, so were colored with Copic marker B24.Thanks for looking!
This was a card that I created for a World Card Making Day challenge on Ellen Hutson's The Classroom blog. I used some tissue tape and created pleats. A first for me!
