This is a card that I made for a Scrapshotz Card Crew Challenge. Tammy challenged us to use old products from our supplies. This Scenic Route patterned paper is a couple of years old. It's called surprise and I only have a couple of sheets left. I love the happy images and since this is for a little boy, the colors are perfect!
The next week, Tanya challenged us to use a stamp for a Valentine's Day card that wasn't meant to be for that occasion. I thought that the best image for my dh would be a fishing one, so this Whipper Snapper image just fit the bill. I colored him with copics and fussy cut around him. I applied a little glossy accents on the boat motor and the heart. The heart is from a different stamp set, and I just drew in the underwater line and hook. The inside sentiment is "You're the catch of a lifetime! Happy Valentine's Day!" It was fun to think outside the box for this one!
Thanks for stopping by! ;)
High Hopes, one of my favorite stamp companies, is welcoming a new artist to their team! Dustin Pike is joining them with his cute animals and dragons (that are fun to color!) I have some of his digital images and am looking forward to seeing what he comes up with for rubber stamps!
Check out my High Hopes Blinkie! They are hosting a blog hop to celebrate! Start here!
